Job summary

The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum at FIU seeks a dynamic Education leader to oversee all educational programs and strategies. You will collaborate across departments to plan initiatives, strengthen engagement with FIU faculty and students, and develop interpretive materials for diverse audiences.

You will guide educational program development, manage budgets and contracts, and pursue innovative partnerships to expand museum learning and campus integration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an appropriate specialization and two years of experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate specialization and four years of experience.
• State of Florida Professional Educator Certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide dynamic leadership for the museum’s educational programs and strategies.
• Collaborate across departments to plan and implement educational initiatives.
• Lead engagement with FIU faculty and students.
• Develop interpretive programs and materials for all publics and expand museum learning models.
• Develop and oversee budgets, contracts, and grant reporting.
