  • 3–5 years teaching experience (residential setting preferred).
  • 3–5 years managerial experience in an educational setting is required.
  • Experience working in Higher Education is required.
  • Experience working in Higher Education preferred.

  • Provide leadership and direction to faculty and support staff in the Education Department.
  • Conduct in class observations of faculty meeting ratio requirements.
  • Support new hire orientation at the campus level including mentors for new hires weekly.
  • Conduct ongoing new class faculty orientation each session.
  • Hire and manage faculty. Perform annual evaluations with goals aligned to development and executive expectations.
  • Substitute teach approved classes as needed.
  • Calendar, host and schedule meetings as necessary.
  • Be aware of and report activities in violation of EEOC and Title VII to ensure compliance.
  • In conjunction with HR ensure an efficient and effective hiring process.
  • Collaborate with Curriculum and LMS Support Specialist and VP Education to complete curriculum on time.
  • Assist and support Student Services, Career Services & Student Success Coach with student issues.
  • Develop and oversee the department budget.
  • Attend student events including assemblies and graduation.
  • Meet with the VP of Education monthly for strategic discussions and planning.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all work information.

Salary Range: $58,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually

IBMC College is recruiting for a Director of Education at our Greeley Campus.

Position Purpose:

Manage and support the daily operations of the Education Department.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required
  • 3-5 years of teaching experience (required – residential setting preferred)
  • 3-5 years managerial experience in an educational setting managing faculty and/or staff required
  • Experience working in Higher Education required
  • Experience working in Higher Education preferred

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office environment and classroom/labs within a college campus requiring outdoor driving to commute to other campuses if needed.
