Our client, a hip-cultured eDiscovery and forensic vendor, is seeking a Director of eDiscovery, Project Management to lead their dynamic PM Team. The Director will drive team excellence, manage internal and external project communications, and ensure an exceptional client experience by adopting the company’s technologies and best practice workflows. With a focus on people management, client support, and leadership, the ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree, experience in eDiscovery project management, and a strong ability to foster a collaborative work environment. POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Director Integrated Services, the Director of ED Project Management (“Director”) leads the project management team (“PM Team”) made up of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and Associate Project Managers. The PM team aims to drive an exceptional client experience through exemplary responsiveness, a consultative approach, and adoption of the company’s technologies and best practice workflows. The Director is responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing internal and external project communications of pod members. This position requires strong people management, extensive client experience, and leadership skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Delivers strategic, and results-oriented leadership to promote team and individualexcellence.
  • Drives team results in the areas of technology, workflow and process proficiency, issue resolution, and department and/or company objectives and initiatives.
  • Drives documentation and regulation of the company PM standards, as well as with projectworkflow tasks.
  • Hire, coach, mentor, and develop project management team members, including leading pod member onboarding and supplying quarterly career development sessions.
  • Track team utilization and ensure proper resourcing for all projects assigned to pod.
  • Ensures consistency across all PMs in consultative communication and standards.
  • Provides client support to project management team, particularly with high-profilematters, through workflow guidance and/or handling client escalations.
  • Collaborates with Sales as necessary.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM preferred.
  • eDiscovery project management experience in either a Law Firm or eDiscovery services provider.
  • Experience leading an eDiscovery team working on large-scale global eDiscovery matter(s). Prior experience managing people is preferred but not required.
  • Adept at leading by example and fostering a collaborative and healthy work environment.
  • Ability to delegate tasks as appropriate to pod team members; drive and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Experience with supporting sales professionals in client-facing meetings.
  • Ability to use metrics to identify areas of improvement and opportunities to automateworkflows to improve efficiency.
  • Ability to cultivate positive and professional relationships both internally and externally.
Expected salary for this role is $160,000 - $185,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
