Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Dosimetry to lead and manage our dynamic team of medical dosimetrists. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinical operations, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance, and advancing strategic initiatives across our partner sites.

You’ll work closely with the VP of Clinical Services and collaborate across departments to deliver scalable solutions, manage team performance, and drive innovation in treatment planning workflows and technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for the dosimetry team (remote, hybrid, and on-site)

• Ensure clinical excellence, consistency, and peer review protocols across all partner facilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between dosimetry staff, site leadership, and internal RTS leadership

• Develop and maintain treatment planning policies, templates, and best practices

• Participate in and oversee onboarding and training for new dosimetrists

• Contribute to clinical strategy, workflow improvements, and software implementation projects

• Address staffing needs, scheduling, and quality assurance initiatives with efficiency and professionalism

• Provide subject matter expertise in support of special projects assigned by the VP of Clinical Services

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) in good standing

• 5+ years of clinical experience in radiation oncology, including treatment planning

• Strong expertise in treatment planning systems

• Experience with EMRs, contouring platforms, and QA tools preferred

• Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and deliver high-quality work under pressure

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Passion for mentoring, developing teams, and driving continuous improvement
