Description
Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships and nurturing community growth? We are seeking a motivated, driven, detailed, and outgoing Director of Donor & Community Engagement to join our nonprofit team. In this vital role, you will foster connections with our current donors and community members to amplify our mission and reach our fundraising goals. You will lead our engagement strategies in cultivating new major gifts and increasing members of our Legacy of Hope Giving Society (multi-year pledges), ensuring that all supporters feel valued and informed about the impact of their contributions. As a key player, you will work collaboratively with our VP of Philanthropy, board members, community influencers, and various internal teams to develop and implement innovative initiatives that enhance our outreach efforts, strengthen partnerships, and celebrate our mission impact. Your ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and your commitment to our mission to reduce the trauma of cancer will inspire others to join us in making a difference. Work Hours and Location:
The Cancer Care Services office is open Monday – Friday 8 am-5 pm. This position is full-time and requires flexibility to work various hours, evenings, and possibly weekends, depending on current program needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary $75,000 | Full-time | FLSA Status: Exempt
Cancer Care Services offers a variety of benefits to our staff including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a retirement match for full-time employees. Paid vacation and sick time are provided, as well as paid time off for designated holidays. The Cancer Care Services office is closed the week of Christmas, providing additional paid time off. We also offer flexible work schedules and a supportive and team-oriented environment.
