We are seeking an experienced multi-unit leader to fill a Director of Dining Services for a historic and premier college in central Pennsylvania. Director Of Dining Services Responsibilities

• Leads all dining service operations, meal plan development, and catering.
• Inspects and evaluates on-site food preparation, sanitation, merchandising, and service standards.
• Modernizes food production, food options, and service techniques to exceed the expectations of our students and guests.
• Maintains pricing and portion standards, cost management, and adheres to department budget.
• Maintains training programs, including ongoing education and development training for employees.
• Works collaboratively with student stakeholders to implement feedback systems and create new programs that positively impact the student experience.
• Works with various other departments to maintain the facility and the equipment.
• Oversees catering operations and execution of special events for various departments to showcase the college.

Director Of Dining Services Requirements

• ServSafe and/or food handler certification.
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in extensive general management in a large volume, multi-unit food service organization in the multi-million-dollar range, including operational and financial expertise.
• Prior experience with major renovation projects would be a plus.
• Experience with higher education food service is a huge plus.
