Job summary

Project FIND is seeking a Director of Development to lead a comprehensive fundraising strategy that expands unrestricted revenue and donor engagement. You will work closely with the Executive Director and Board to strengthen relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners, while guiding crisis communications when necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Strategic and hands-on approach to fundraising.
At least 6 years' experience increasing the donor base by 500K+.
Proven track record with Fortune 100 donors.
Interest in Housing and OAC preferred.
Ability to implement donor strategy within 6 months.
Flexible and multi-generational donor relations experience.
Strong writing skills for donor communications.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan to grow unrestricted revenue.
Lead cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for individuals, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
Oversee annual campaigns and special events to maximize revenue.
Manage donor reporting, dashboards, and donor communications.
Coordinate with the Executive Director on crisis communications and reputational matters.
Oversee the fundraising database, gift processing, grant tracking, and reporting.
