You will advise County leadership on development matters, resolve complex issues, and foster a culture of accountability and cross‑training. AICP/CZA and Virginia licensure support is expected within specified timelines.

Qualifikationen

• This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Public Administration, or related field and 6–9 years of planning and development management experience.
• Master’s Degree is preferred; AICP or CZA designation is required or obtainable within 12 months, with both within 3 years.
• Virginia driver’s license is required; pre-employment checks apply.

• Present to boards, committees, and stakeholders on development matters.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations; ensure succession planning.
