Job summary

California State University, Fresno is seeking a Director of Development in the University Advancement division for the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. You will identify, cultivate and solicit major gifts, working with the Dean and senior leadership to drive campaign strategies and volunteer leadership initiatives.

You will collaborate with faculty, alumni and foundations to advance fundraising efforts, ensuring alignment with the college mission and campus goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from regionally accredited institution.
• Minimum of four years of fundraising experience or related fields with transferable skills.
• Proven ability to work with individuals and groups and as part of a team.
• Appreciation of the importance of education to individuals and society.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate and solicit major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Plan and implement development and Jordan College-based campaign strategies.
• Partner with Dean, VPUA, AVP and SDOD/ED on strategy conversations regarding volunteer leadership.
• Support fundraising activities that benefit the Jordan College and Ag One Foundation.
