Job summary

Washington State University, Carson College of Business is seeking a Director of Development to join our team. The role may be filled as Director of Development 3 or 4 based on qualifications and experience, with travel required across Washington and the Northwest.

The position drives fundraising goals through major gifts, annual giving, and planned gifts, managing donor portfolios and executing solicitations to build strong relationships with supporters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of progressively responsible relevant experience, including two years fundraising experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for up to one year.
• Proven ability to plan and execute fundraising activities and solicit gifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct outreach to promote fundraising and awareness of the CCB’s activities.
• Cultivate donors and raise money through annual giving, major gifts, and planned gifts.
• Travel extensively within Washington state and beyond to engage donors.
