Job summary

Global Partnerships in Seattle, WA seeks a Director of Development to grow our investor and donor base and steward high-net-worth relationships. You will work with the CEO, CIO, and Investor Relations leaders to move relationships forward with clarity and care.

The role focuses on managing a portfolio of supporters, preparing executive briefings, and planning donor experiences, while shaping strategies that deepen engagement and investment across GP's mission. Hybrid work in Seattle is offered.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of relevant professional experience in relationship management, philanthropy, nonprofit major gifts, investor relations, or related roles.
• Experience managing complex, high-value relationships through multiple stages and stakeholders.
• Experience working with individual donors, HNWIs, family offices, or executive stakeholders.
• Familiarity with impact investing, financial services, international development, or philanthropy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with donors, investors, and executives to advance GP's mission.
• Manage an assigned portfolio and identify renewal or growth opportunities across GP's capital spectrum.
• Participate in meetings with sophisticated prospects; listen, assess motivations, and guide next steps.
• Maintain account strategies and timely CRM updates to reflect relationship history and actions.
