Lake Creek Pkwy Austin, TX 78717 Dell Children’s Foundation is hiring a Director of Development to plan and execute fundraising initiatives at our new Dell Children’s Medical Center North Campus location. The scope of work includes identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors supporting the growth of Dell Children’s Medical Center North. This is a full-time, on-site position. Connect with your Talent Advisor today for additional specifics. Responsibilities Participate in fundraising campaigns, grant administration, major gift and/or charitable development programs. Assist with fundraising campaigns including budgets and timelines. Coordinate the creative process, file selection, production and mailing, and the acknowledgement process. Support strategy to train staff on marketing campaigns, soliciting donors, and defining levels of giving and benefits. Create printed materials and update databases and websites with campaign program information. Implement donor relations/recognition activities. Develop donor confidence and relationships through effective gift solicitation, processing and acknowledgement. Support the development and implementation of tracking strategies for solicitation efforts and perform analysis of data for results. Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences Bachelor’s degree required. CFRE or work towards CFRE a plus. 7+ years of fundraising experience, major and principal gift fundraising experience preferred. Experience fundraising in a healthcare environment preferred. Service line fundraising experience a plus, working with clinical teams preferred. Creative with strong problem solving ability. Excellent written, oral communication skills and presentation skills. Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively with leadership, foundation team and clinical staff to educate and cultivate support for the organization. Must be self-motivated and goal driven with exemplary ethics, professionalism and discretion at all times. Strong financial background preferred, budgeting, forecasting and tracking. Ability to manage a team as Dell Children’s North grows.
