ESP in Athens, GA is seeking an experienced Director of Development to lead the community's fundraising strategy, drive leadership annual and major gifts, and expand donor engagement across individuals, businesses, foundations, and civic partners.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this role owns the development plan, aligns local priorities with ESP’s mission, and guides the development team toward sustainable revenue to support programs and services for people with disabilities.

Formación

• At least five years of progressive fundraising, sales, business development, or related experience.
• Proven success cultivating, soliciting, and closing five‑figure gifts.
• Experience developing and executing fundraising or revenue‑generating strategies against measurable goals.
• Prior experience supervising, coaching, or leading staff or cross‑functional teams.
• Experience using a CRM to manage relationships; Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the community’s comprehensive development strategy and revenue plan to advance ESP’s mission.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of leadership annual and major gifts; secure gifts $2,500+ and major gifts $25,000+.
• Coach and hold the development team accountable; ensure collaboration and progress toward goals.
• Build a donor pipeline with strategies for identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Expand ESP’s presence through partnerships with businesses, foundations, and civic organizations.
