Job summary

United Way of Lewis County is seeking a Director of Development & Community Impact to lead fundraising and donor engagement, building relationships and securing diverse revenue streams. The role partners with the Executive Director to expand campaigns, sponsorships, grants and workplace giving, while guiding community impact initiatives and measuring outcomes for Lewis County.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of fundraising, nonprofit management, marketing or related experience.
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with donors, businesses and partners.
• Experience with sponsorships, grants, workplace campaigns or revenue-generating activities is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive, year-round fundraising strategy to grow and diversify revenue across individual giving, workplace campaigns, corporate partnerships, grants, sponsorships and major gifts.
• Establish annual fundraising goals, monitor performance and donor retention, and adjust strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and develop new philanthropic opportunities, prospects and funding partnerships that advance United Way’s mission.
• Lead United Way’s signature fundraising events, working closely with volunteer committees to maximize fundraising success and community engagement.
• Build and maintain meaningful year-round relationships with current, prospective and lapsed donors.
