Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Development, the Director of Development is responsible for executing annual giving strategies, managing a portfolio of lead annual and mid‑major donors, and overseeing stewardship activities that support donor retention and growth. This role is a key contributor to the College’s annual fund performance and plays an active role in advancing the donor pipeline through consistent outreach, thoughtful stewardship, and campaign execution, contributing to a team‑based fundraising approach in which all Advancement staff support the College’s philanthropic goals.
Responsible for the management of Barton’s development efforts as it relates to annual giving strategies focused on the whole donor cycle for our donors, alumni, friends, employees, parents, students, and companies.
