Job summary

The Nuclear Company is seeking a Director of Accounting, Deployment to lead divisional controllership for our growing deployment business. You will own month-end close, policy application, and consolidation across deployment entities and acquisitions, while partnering with external auditors to ensure audit readiness.

You will build scalable accounting processes, drive integration of acquisitions into our policies and ERP system (NetSuite), and strengthen internal controls as the business scales

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting and controllership, incl. senior leadership roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong U.S. GAAP foundation, with experience on large capital projects
• Experience in multi-entity environments with JV/SPV/project financing or acquisitions
• Proven ownership of month-end close, reporting, and consolidation
• Experience leading acquisition accounting and integration
• Experience implementing scalable close processes and internal controls
• Experience managing external audits and accounting documentation

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation for deployment division
• Lead policy application and technical accounting across entities and projects
• Oversee purchase accounting and post-acquisition adjustments
• Integrate acquisitions and new entities into ERP and accounting policies
• Standardize processes, strengthen internal controls, and ensure audit readiness
• Support SOX and ICFR readiness and public-company reporting discipline
• Develop and mentor the Deployment accounting team while staying hands-on
