Position Summary

As the Associate Director, Data Onboarding, you will have the opportunity to lead meaningful work that improves how healthcare organizations use data to drive performance and outcomes. You will work alongside smart, motivated people who value ownership, transparency, and execution excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Own and govern the enterprise data onboarding operating model, including standards, decision frameworks, success metrics, and escalation mechanisms.
  • Set strategic direction for data onboarding initiatives, translating business and platform priorities into delivery expectations and operating plans.
  • Establish and enforce enterprise‑wide frameworks, methodologies, and controls to ensure consistency, scalability, and risk management across onboarding efforts.
  • Provide executive‑level oversight across all onboarding workstreams, ensuring alignment to PMO governance, delivery timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex data risks, cross‑functional issues, and client‑impacting decisions, driving resolution and accountability.
  • Oversee performance management through defined KPIs related to data quality, readiness, implementation integrity, and time‑to‑value.
  • Lead and develop a management layer of data onboarding and program leaders, including succession planning, capability development, and organizational design.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with third‑party data providers to support enterprise data acquisition needs and operational reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement through operating metrics, retrospectives, and evolution of documentation, standards, and enablement materials.
Experience / Qualifications
  • 7 or more years of progressive experience in data operations, analytics, system implementation, or solution delivery is required
  • 4 or more years of healthcare technology, healthcare services, or related industry is required
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated leadership responsibility in a professional environment is required
  • Proven ability to manage and guide complex programs involving numerous stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data domains (e.g., analytics, population health, capitation, revenue cycle, or value-based care)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience; MBA or Master’s degree from a top university is preferred
  • Prior experience with data acquisition from third‑party data providers within the healthcare industry is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success operating at both strategic and execution levels, including executive communication and frontline decision‑making
  • Experience mentoring or leading other managers in a professional environment is preferred
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfort engaging with client and internal executives
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and operational management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related business tools
Work Arrangement

Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)
