Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data governance concepts, frameworks, roles, techniques, processes, and practices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FERPA, privacy, and ethical use of institutional data.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving data, policy, reporting, analytics, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Framingham State University's Data Governance Program in alignment with approved charters.
• Facilitate collaboration across academic and administrative units among data trustees, stewards, and system custodians.
• Ensure governance policies, standards, data definitions, and access requirements are implemented consistently across enterprise systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on data governance policies, standards, procedures, and compliance expectations.
• Develop and socialize governance policies, documentation, and data usage guidance with relevant units and stakeholders.
