Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence & Data Engineering to own the enterprise data platform, analytics ecosystem, and data engineering strategy within a healthcare-focused organization.

You will lead a modern Databricks lakehouse, establish a governed source of truth for enterprise metrics, and build a high-performing data and BI team to support clinical, finance, and operations with scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across data engineering, data architecture, or BI, incl. 3+ years leading teams.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Databricks and Spark, lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, SQL warehouses.
• Experience building and governing a modern semantic or metrics layer, using Cube or Looker/LookML.
• Advanced SQL and dimensional/semantic data modeling.
• Healthcare data experience with payer/claims/clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Own Databricks lakehouse architecture and data layers.
• Drive data pipeline reliability, lineage, observability, and governance.
• Establish standards for ingesting payer, claims, clinical, and enterprise data.
• Own semantic/metrics layer definitions for enterprise KPIs.
• Lead data engineering and BI organization; hire and coach engineers.
