Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health Plans seeks a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and support BI and analytics solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. You will partner with stakeholders to translate healthcare data into actionable insights via dashboards and reports.

Strong SQL, Python, and BI tool experience (Databricks, Tableau, Power BI) and a passion for cloud data technologies, governance, and Agile methods are required in this healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in healthcare IT, analytics, software development, or data management.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, SAS) and programming (R, Python, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions on Databricks Lakehouse.
• Build datasets, Delta tables, and semantic models for reports.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
• Write and optimize complex SQL and ensure performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Partner with Data Engineering/Governance/Analytics to resolve data issues.
