Job summary

Harris Associates seeks a Director of Cybersecurity Operations & Risk Governance to run the SOC, own risk registers, map control frameworks, and oversee regulatory obligations. The role reports to the CISO, mentors a small team, and leads incident response with hands-on involvement.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years in cybersecurity, leadership experience, and CISSP or progress toward it, with strong familiarity in SEC rules, GLBA and FINRA.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including 3–5 years in leadership.
• Experience operating SOC/detection with SIEM/XDR tooling and risk governance.
• Regulated financial services experience and CISSP (or in progress).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of security analysts/engineers.
• Own incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Manage vulnerability and risk governance programs and reporting.
• Represent cybersecurity posture to committees and internal/external examiners.
