Summary

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Crisis Services department, including the Screening Assessment and Support Services (SASS) program, Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT), and Mental Health Juvenile Justice (MHJ). This role involves clinical supervision and administrative responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision
  • Provide clinical and/or administrative supervision to staff including managers, therapists, and interns involved in crisis programs.
  • Review client charts and ensure compliance with Medicaid rules and performance measures.
  • Respond to calls from answering services and participate in on-call responsibilities.
  • Coordinate staff training, maintain clinical documentation, and conduct staff evaluations.
  • Monitor staff statistics, billable hours, and network with community partners.
  • Maintain Illinois clinical license and certification in assessment tools.
Administration
  • Meet regularly with leadership to discuss policies and program expansion.
  • Participate in planning, evaluation, hiring, training, and quality improvement activities.
  • Represent the agency in community and networking meetings.
  • Ensure completion of administrative documentation, billing, and reports.
  • Manage risk and oversee daily agency operations in leadership's absence.
Community Education/Public Relations
  • Perform community outreach, education, and speaking engagements.
  • Participate in fundraising and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate meetings with referral sources.
Special Assignments/Projects
  • Collaborate with funding sources, attend workshops, review forms, and perform other duties as assigned.
Other Duties

Supervisory Responsibility

This role supervises 8-10 staff members.

Physical and Environmental Considerations
  • Work in office and community settings, requiring physical activities and occasional lifting.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full-time, 37.5 hours/week. Salary range: $65,200 - $79,478/year, with benefits.

Travel

Light travel within counties and occasionally outside.

Education and Experience
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or similar.
  • LCSW or LCPC license required.
  • Leadership experience and ability to multitask.
