Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Director, Credentials Verifications Organization (CVO) to provide executive leadership for credentialing and privileging across the system, ensuring timely, compliant processes. Oversees staffing, timelines, and regulatory adherence in line with bylaws and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

Experience leading credentialing/privileging programs for medical staff and allied health professionals.
Knowledge of Joint Commission, NCQA, CMS, and state/federal regulatory standards.
Strong communication and collaboration with multiple departments and legal/risk management.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for the Credentialing Verifications Organization (CVO).
Oversee credentialing/privileging for Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals across Wellstar entities.
Ensure timely, compliant application processes and communication with applicants and department partners.
Monitor regulatory changes and maintain system-wide compliance and readiness.
