Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC is seeking a Director of Counseling Services to lead the Health and Wellness Center’s counseling program. The role involves direct therapy for students, crisis intervention, and supervision of counseling staff and interns.

A master’s degree in Counseling/Clinical Social Work/Psychology and a DC license are essential. The Director will ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance, coordinate clinical services, and provide outreach to promote student mental health

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Psychology.
• Must hold a DC license (LICSW, LPC, PhD/PsyD) to practice independently.
• Experience in a college/university counseling center.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual therapy, group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention for students.
• Supervise counselors and interns in the Health Center.
• Maintain confidential records in line with HIPAA, FERPA, and regulations.
• Develop and implement outreach programs on mental health and wellbeing.
