DSJ Global seeks a Director of Continuous Improvement in the Charlotte area to lead Lean transformation across multiple manufacturing sites. You will report to the C-suite and drive operational excellence, safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

The role focuses on coaching leadership, building enterprise CI capabilities, deploying digital manufacturing and Smart Factory technologies, and delivering measurable productivity gains in a global industrial setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 10+ years leading Lean Manufacturing and CI initiatives in manufacturing.
• 8+ years applying Lean methods in high-volume industrial or automotive manufacturing.
• Proven track record delivering productivity, quality and cost improvements.
• Multi-site manufacturing experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead deployment of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement across multiple sites.
• Champion Lean methodologies including Kaizen, VSM, Standard Work, SMED, TPM and Six Sigma.
• Coach and mentor Plant Managers, Operations Leaders, CI Managers, and Production Leaders.
• Develop Lean capabilities through training, workshops and hands-on coaching.
• Support footprint optimization, cost-reduction programs and strategic deployment.
• Pioneer digital manufacturing and Smart Factory technologies.
• Embed operational excellence into daily management systems and site culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement strategies across multiple manufacturing sites.
  Champion the use of Lean methodologies including Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, SMED, TPM, and Six Sigma tools.
• Support plant leadership teams in identifying and executing operational improvement opportunities.
• Coach and mentor Plant Managers, Operations Leaders, CI Managers, and Production Leaders.
• Develop Lean competencies throughout the organization through training, workshops, and hands-on coaching.
• Support facility footprint optimization, cost reduction programs, and operational strategy deployment.
• Pioneer the implementation of digital manufacturing and Smart Factory technologies.
• Ensure operational excellence principles are embedded into daily management systems and site culture.

The successful candidate will ideally have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline,
• 10+ years of experience leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
• 8+ years of experience applying Lean methodologies in high-volume industrial or automotive manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience driving measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
• Multi-Site Manufacturing experience
