Fairmarkit is seeking a Director of Content Marketing to shape our market presence and build a content engine that makes us impossible to ignore. You will own storytelling across mediums, turning experts' insights into ideas and stories people care about.

Fairmarkit is looking for a Director of Content Marketing to help shape how we show up in the market and build a content engine that makes us impossible to ignore.
At the heart of this role is great storytelling. We’re looking for an exceptional writer and editor who knows how to find a strong idea, sharpen it, and turn it into something people actually want to read, share, and talk about. But creating great content is only part of the job.
You’ll think just as much about how an idea travels. Across LinkedIn, search, AI answer engines, customer stories, executive voices, video, research, and whatever channel emerges next. You’ll help establish Fairmarkit and our leaders as trusted voices in procurement while finding new ways to reach the people we care about.
You’ll also help us rethink how content gets made. AI is changing the way people discover information and the way marketing teams work. We want someone who’s excited to experiment with that shift, build smarter workflows, and figure out where AI creates leverage and where human judgment still matters most.
This is a hands‑on role. You’ll write. You’ll edit. You’ll experiment. You’ll build. And you’ll work closely with Brand & Design, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, our executives, customers, and outside partners to bring great ideas to life.
We’re not looking for someone who’s simply good at prompting ChatGPT. We’re looking for someone who’s curious about how AI can fundamentally change the way a modern content team works.
Great content should ultimately create business impact. You’ll help us understand that journey from the earliest signals all the way through pipeline and revenue.
You’ll define what we should measure, establish the right leading indicators, and help us understand whether we’re gaining attention and authority with the audiences that matter.
That could include share of voice, procurement audience engagement, executive reach, organic and AI visibility, branded search, qualified traffic, target-account engagement, content influence, and pipeline.
Most importantly, you’ll use what we learn to make the work better.
A year from now, Fairmarkit should have a stronger, more recognizable voice in the procurement market and a content engine built around ideas people actually care about.
Our customers, data, and executives should be generating stories and perspectives that travel. Our leaders should have stronger voices on social. We should be easier to discover through both traditional search and AI. And behind the scenes, AI‑enabled workflows should help us produce and distribute better work with significantly more leverage.
We’ll also have a much clearer understanding of what’s working, why it’s working, and how those early signals eventually translate into pipeline and revenue.
Ultimately, success is pretty simple: we want Fairmarkit to become a company the procurement market reads, follows, references, searches for, and talks about.
For this role you need to reside in one of the following states: California (CA), Colorado (CO), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Illinois (IL), Indiana (IN), Maryland (MD), Massachusetts (MA), Montana (MT), New Hampshire (NH), New Jersey (NJ), New York (NY), North Carolina (NC), Ohio (OH), Pennsylvania (PA), Rhode Island (RI), Texas (TX), Tennessee (TN), or Washington (WA).
The annual compensation for this role is $162,000–$225,000 (including a bonus), depending on experience and location, plus equity and benefits. This range is provided in accordance with applicable U.S. pay transparency laws. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and location. #LI-remote #LI-YM1
