Construction & Development Recruiter/Headhunter/Search Consultant - Mid-Atlantic

A quickly-growing, industrial and airport hanger specialized real estate company is seeking a Director of Construction to lead development and renovation projects for aviation facilities nationwide. They have a huge backlog in work given the high demand for private airport hangers throughout the country.

About the Role

You’ll be the company’s first in-house construction lead, managing projects from cradle to grave. Responsibilities include:

• Managing contractors and consultants across multiple projects
• Acting as owner’s rep on key developments (including an upcoming $50M new development in Colorado)
• Remote position with required traveling ~5–7 days/month to project sites.
• Coordinating with airports, municipalities, and internal stakeholders
• Handling FAA filings, lease interpretation, and project due diligence

REQUIRED BACKGROUND

• 7+ years in Construction Management
• Experience working on the owner's rep side of the business
• Pre-engineered metal building, airport hanger or industrial project experience within the last 5 years
• Skilled in Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and reading plans

Compensation

• $150K–$180K base salary + 10–15% annual target bonus
• Health insurance (75% paid), 401(k) with 4.5% match
• Remote with fully paid travel
