A Director of Construction oversees all aspects of a construction project, from planning to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards. They manage teams, budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, acting as a leader in the construction process.

Responsibilities:

Planning and Execution: Oversees the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they align with company standards and project goals.
Team Management: Manages and coordinates project teams, including hiring, training, and motivating staff.
Budget and Schedule Management: Develops and manages project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Risk Management: Analyzes, manages, and mitigates risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Communication: Provides project updates to clients, contractors, and senior management.
Compliance: Ensures adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant standards.
Construction Knowledge: Possesses in-depth knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and best practices.
