Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services LLC is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the compression engineering team, drive facility design initiatives, and provide aftermarket support. Reporting to executive leadership, the role emphasizes collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant solutions.

The role requires a strong background in engineering leadership, industry codes and standards, and process optimization to support growth and ESG goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 10+ years of natural gas compression industry experience preferred.
• Proven track record leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, reliability, operability, constructability, and configuration management across products and processes.
• Define and lead strategic direction for the engineering team.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, procedures and best practices.
• Create scopes and project plans for engineering initiatives.
• Oversee design deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Provide advanced technical guidance to resolve complex challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations to deliver engineering support.
• Analyze and estimate costs related to fleet, projects, facilities, and AMS.
