Job summary

Wellness Equity Alliance in Southern California is seeking a Director of Nursing to provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across street medicine, behavioral health, crisis services, care management, and mobile programs.

The DoN reports to the CMO, collaborates with cross-functional teams, develops workflows, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports workforce development. The role is hybrid with travel to Southern CA locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Current California nursing license.
• Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services across clinical programs.
• Oversee nursing operations across multiple sites, ensuring trauma-informed, equity-centered care.
• Develop nursing workflows, staffing models, and clinical standards across field and clinic environments.
• Lead quality improvement, audits, and regulatory readiness for nursing practice.
