Lead and scale a national outreach program that brings care and compassion to people and their communities — through a mission-driven business with national reach.

This is a business, not a nonprofit, government, or community service agency — it’s a growing company investing in a thoughtful, mission-driven outreach strategy that blends compassion with operational excellence. You’ll be a business leader who is building a team, a structure, and a repeatable playbook that makes a lasting difference — while aligning closely to the company’s growth goals and values.

Are you a business leader who brings structure, accountability, and strategy — but leads with empathy and vision? Do you know how to coach a team, align goals to results, and build something that lasts?

We’re looking for a leader who sees community not as a checkbox, but as a catalyst for connection, trust, and growth. Someone who can unify purpose with performance — coaching a team, shaping a strategy, and building a national outreach program that supports families at life’s most meaningful moments. You’ll lead with purpose and operate with discipline. You’ll bring care to the role and also clarity, structure, coaching, KPIs, and performance. If you’re a strategic operator who has led people, built programs, and know how to turn values into action — this is your moment.

We’re hiring a newly created position of Director of Community Engagement & Field Strategy (Remote – National Team) to lead and scale a growing national team of community outreach professionals focused on building trusted partnerships with senior care, hospice, healthcare, religious, veterans, and community-based organizations.

This is a newly elevated, strategic role reporting to the SVP of Marketing. You’ll lead a distributed team of 20+ field-based outreach professionals and help structure, measure, and grow our community engagement efforts into a high-performing, nationally consistent program — one that truly makes a difference in the lives of families across the U.S.

This role is ideal for someone who brings a deep commitment to community, strong team leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to guide others through influence and coaching. Industry experience in healthcare, hospice, or senior services is helpful — but not required. What matters most is your empathy, leadership, creativity, and ability to help others succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and implement a scalable national outreach strategy serving 200+ local U.S. locations and their surrounding communities, and aligned to growth goals
  • Lead, coach, and develop a 20+ person field-based outreach team across markets
  • Inspire your team with clear goals, tools, playbooks, and professional development
  • Drive strategic partnerships with hospice, senior care, and community organizations
  • Structure and monitor KPIs, CRM usage, and performance dashboards across regions
  • Elevate community outreach from local awareness to a measurable growth function
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and executive leadership to align initiatives
  • Travel periodically to support your team and deepen community relationships

What Makes You a Fit

  • 5–10+ years of experience in community outreach, field marketing, or partnership development — ideally in healthcare, senior living, hospice, nonprofit, or community services, but could be in other community-focused growth organizations
  • Proven leadership of distributed field teams, with a track record of coaching and growing others
  • Skilled at building programs, systems, and outreach playbooks from scratch
  • Data-savvy and resourceful — comfortable with CRM tools, KPIs, and building results with what you have
  • A natural communicator — structured, persuasive, empathetic, and confident across levels
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and presenting to executives
  • Deep sense of mission and care — you want to improve people’s lives and lead with purpose
  • You may come from healthcare, hospice, senior services, or nonprofit sectors — or you may have built community engagement teams in another industry. If you lead with empathy, drive outcomes, and elevate others, we’d love to talk.

Why Join?

  • National Impact: Lead a program that spans over 200+ locations nationwide (and growing!)
  • Build Something New: Shape the structure, tools, and strategy from the ground up
  • Mission-Driven: Help families access care, comfort, and connection when they need it most
  • Strong Leadership: Report to a senior executive and collaborate across the C-suite
  • Great Benefits: Competitive compensation, bonus, full health benefits, and room to grow

This is a rare chance to lead with heart and scale with vision — and to shape a team that makes a difference every day.
