Job summary

Commonpoint Queens seeks a Director of Postsecondary Programs to lead a multi-site portfolio serving high school students, college-bound participants, and college students. You will oversee college exploration, applications, and persistence efforts, focusing on first-generation students and navigating barriers to success.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets and contracts, and report to the Senior Director.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, education, higher education, psychology, public administration, or a related field strongly preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cohesive college access and persistence strategy across multiple sites with measurable outcomes.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate managers, advisors, persistence staff, and other team members.
• Conduct regular site visits to observe services and ensure program quality; manage budgets and contracts.
