The Role

DashFi is hiring a Director of Cloud Sales (AWS) to build and scale a new product line focused on AWS GPO savings and spend capture. This is a first-of-its-kind role for us, combining deep expertise in AWS billing and cost optimization with the ability to stand up and run a pooled cloud purchasing program that helps companies unlock rebates and savings through aggregated AWS spend.

The ideal candidate has worked with reseller, channel, or multi-tenant AWS billing models, understands the intricacies of AWS pricing and enterprise cost structures, and has built or launched go-to-market strategies in the cloud ecosystem. You will work cross-functionally across product, sales, and finance to design the model, build the motion, and bring the first wave of customers into the program.

Responsibilities

  • Design and launch DashFi’s AWS GPO savings and spend capture product, from pilot to scale
  • Own the full sales cycle for DashFi’s cloud cost optimization solution
  • Lead discovery, solution presentations, and closing conversations with technical and financial stakeholders
  • Define and execute the launch strategy for DashFi’s AWS savings program, including evaluating whether to build internally or partner with a third-party GPO or reseller for version one
  • Build and manage relationships with AWS, cloud resellers, MSPs, and optimization platforms
  • Contribute to the development of pricing, packaging, and enablement materials
  • Own the go-to-market strategy, including customer acquisition, onboarding, referral infrastructure, and enablement
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define technical requirements for billing integration, tagging, and spend tracking
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, CTOs, and VP Engineering at customer organizations, helping them optimize AWS spend while maintaining scalability
  • Create supporting materials such as value messaging, ROI models, and internal sales collateral
  • Track KPIs across spend captured, customer savings, rebate performance, and program adoption

Requirements

  • Experience working with pooled cloud spend, AWS reseller programs, or channel-led cloud GTM
  • 4+ years of experience in full-cycle sales roles focused on cloud optimization, AWS cost management, FinOps solutions, or technical infrastructure software
  • Deep understanding of AWS pricing models, including EDPs, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, tagging, and cost allocation
  • Proven ability to build and launch new GTM initiatives or cloud offerings from 0 to 1
  • Customer-facing experience working with CFOs, CTOs, or VP Engineering on cost efficiency, scalability, or cloud strategy
  • Strong cross-functional operator who can partner with product, finance, engineering, and sales
  • Bonus: Experience at a startup, MSP, or cloud provider offering AWS savings, pooled spend, or rebate-based programs, particularly those with GPO-style, channel, or FinOps-focused go-to-market motions

Compensation

Dash.fi offers a competitive Total Rewards package designed to support employees professionally and personally. The on-target earnings (OTE) for this role are expected to range from $240,000 to $285,000, plus equity. Actual compensation may vary from the listed range depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
