  • Design, develop, launch, and continuously improve an organization-wide clinical training program for Medical Assistants and other clinical support staff.
  • Develop standardized onboarding, role-specific competency checklists, annual skills validation, training workflows, and documentation standards across all sites.
  • Create competency-based curriculum and practical training that supports consistent clinical performance and development.
  • Lead phased implementation plans and evaluate training effectiveness using completion, competency, quality, and operational outcomes.

  • Ensure training and documentation meet California requirements for technical supportive services, including injections, venipuncture, and point-of-care testing.
  • Partner with Quality and Risk to convert patient safety events, near misses, audit findings, and performance gaps into targeted training and re-validation.
  • Support organization-wide compliance training and maintain documentation for HRSA, payer, and regulatory reviews.
  • Ensure clinical training programs meet applicable privacy, safety, documentation, and regulatory requirements.

Employee Health Program Leadership

  • Lead pre-placement health screening, TB screening, immunization and titer tracking, annual influenza vaccination, and respirator fit testing.
