Job summary

Sea Grove Recovery Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Director of Clinical Services to lead behavioral health clinical operations in Mount Pleasant, SC. The role directs, assesses and coordinates care, ensuring evidence-based treatments and coordinated collaboration with family, medical staff and academia for student experiences.

The DCS will supervise clinical programs, drive quality initiatives, and maintain high standards of patient care across psychiatric and substance use

Qualifications

• Licensure as a psychologist or clinical social worker in SC.
• 3–5 years of post-master’s experience preferred and/or as a licensed professional in a psychiatric setting or related field; and 3 years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology practices.
• Familiarity with art therapy techniques is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates daily operation of clinical programs and seeks input from patients, staff and leaders on issues affecting patient care.
• Collaborates with senior leaders to set program standards, goals and objectives.
• Ensures multidisciplinary planning, treatment and evaluations occur effectively in patient care.
• Attends treatment team meetings to monitor results and adapt care.
• Plans, develops and evaluates performance improvement and patient satisfaction activities.
• Monitors patient outcomes and adjusts programs as necessary.
• Advocates for patients' rights and access to services.
• Fosters a culture of compassion and excellence within the team.
