The University of Delaware seeks a Director of Clinical Education to develop and manage second-year MA-SLP clinical experiences and oversee the clinical education component of the MA program in Speech Language Pathology. You will collaborate with faculty and clinical sites, assign externships, and provide direct patient services at the UD Speech-Language Hearing Clinic.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and seven years of clinical service and/or clinical education experience.
• ASHA certification and Delaware licensure eligibility.
• Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, problem-solving and counseling skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and work independently.
• Knowledge of educational, management, and adult learning theory and principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and basic databases.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and coordinates second year clinical education activities and services.
• Serves as liaison between UD and affiliated clinical education sites.
• Communicates program and site information to stakeholders.
• Monitors student progress and provides guidance to students and supervisors.
• Assigns students to sites considering learning needs and opportunities.
• Evaluates sites through feedback, visits, and ongoing communications.
• Provides feedback to educators on effectiveness of clinical experiences.
• Performs duties in line with CAA and institutional policy.
• Manages administrative responsibilities and resource planning for clinical education.
• Develops policy for site selection, utilization, and assessment.
• Maintains adequate and diverse clinical education sites across learning experiences.
