Role:

We are looking for a Director of Client Partnerships, Pharmaceuticals. This candidate preferably has a strong background in sales and understands the unique marketing challenges faced by the Pharmaceuticals Industry. This candidate also comes with a deep understanding of marketing and sales strategy. We are looking for people who have experience working and partnering directly with marketing leaders at Pharmaceuticals companies.

You will work with a close-knit Pharmaceuticalsindustry team consisting of 6-12 members who focus on complementary functional areas, including account strategy, mid-funnel strategy, creative strategy, campaign strategy, market strategy and supply strategy. With a focal point on marketing and sales strategy, you will be accountable to the team and all team members are expected to learn facets of other functional areas so they can better see the big picture, be more strategic, and work together as a more effective team.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary client-facing lead for prospective and current Pharmaceuticals companies
  • Generate activity and revenue to promote growth within the Pharmaceuticals sector
  • Map out the landscape and put together a prioritized outreach strategy, to connect with marketing leaders and decision makers at consumer health companies
  • Set up meetings and have strategic discussions with marketing leaders at companies
  • Prepare for meetings by researching each company, their current marketing strategy, and their unique challenges
  • Educate marketing leaders at consumer health companies on our unique Pharmaceuticals solutions and how they can address their unique challenges
  • Establish long-term relationships with the goal of being a valued strategic partner
  • Provide campaign strategy consultation and analysis
  • Ability to listen carefully to delineate customer challenges and to curate creative solutions to address client needs

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of marketing strategy experience
  • A sales background with cold prospecting experience is preferred, but not required. If no sales background, a demonstrated aptitude for sales skills, and desire to make career switch will be required
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with marketing leaders within the following industries: Pharmaceuticals and/or B2B
  • Agency experience leading the relationship with senior marketers at brands
  • Brand marketing experience, directly managing and strategizing campaigns as an internal marketer at leading brands
  • Ability to have a discussion on marketing strategy with senior marketing leaders
  • Proven relationship building capabilities with key marketing decision makers at brands, OR a track record of developing enduring and actionable client/partner relationships
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing industry trends and technologies
  • Strong knowledge of leveraging brand marketing to drive impact
  • Strong work ethic, hunger to learn, and drive to constantly improve
  • Self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and as part of team in which members are accountable to each other
  • Problem-solving and self-starter skills
  • Team player who works well with others to make work enjoyable

Work Environment:

  • We are a remote-first organization. This role is for the US, but you can reside anywhere in the US
