We are seeking a Director of Civil Engineering for Land Development to lead our Cleveland, OH office and the Great Lakes Region. This role involves business development, team leadership, and regional project strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil engineering background, land development experience, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of civil engineers and support staff.
    • Create a collaborative environment that promotes growth.
    • Oversee land development project planning, design, and execution, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
    • Develop regional strategies for growth and profitability.
  • Business Development:
    • Create and implement plans to expand market presence and secure new projects.
    • Build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
    • Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and negotiate deals.
    • Represent the company at industry events to enhance visibility.
  • Project Management:
    • Ensure successful project delivery from start to finish.
    • Coordinate with teams for seamless execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • PE license required
  • Minimum 15 years in civil engineering, focusing on land development
  • Proven business development and client management skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic planning skills
