Timely Recruit Limited is seeking a Director of Civil Engineering to lead transportation and roadway projects in the Chicago market. You will steer complex infrastructure programs, mentor teams, and build client relationships while delivering on strategic growth.

You will hold a Civil Engineering degree with an active Illinois PE license and bring extensive transport-focused experience to drive technical direction, project delivery, and business development across public-sector clients.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Director of Civil Engineering to lead transportation and roadway engineering, drive strategic growth and oversee major infrastructure projects across the Chicago market.

The Role

You’ll combine technical expertise, commercial leadership and client relationship management to deliver complex infrastructure projects while building high-performing engineering teams and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• An active Illinois Professional Engineer (PE) licence.
• Extensive civil engineering experience, ideally within transportation and roadway infrastructure.

Experience with alternative project delivery methods would be advantageous.
