Job description

Skidaway Island United Methodist Church is seeking a Director of Children & Youth Ministry. The position objective is to administer, develop and implement programs designed to meet the spiritual, educational, and emotional needs of families and their children from birth through 12 th grade. We are looking for an individual who is a dynamic leader with a passion for children and youth ministries. They must be a team player and able to communicate effectively, have a strong spiritual background and possess the ability to create and develop new programs. We prefer an individual with a United Methodist background who has a Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field with experience in similar ministries.

This is a full-time position with a minimum salary of $45,000 and paid vacation time. Skidaway Island UMC is located on Skidaway Island, adjacent to Savannah, Georgia.
