What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Director of Change Management to join our team! The Director of Change Management is responsible for leading and overseeing the change management function across the organization. This role works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that support organizational changes, drive business growth, and enhance performance. This role requires a strong leader with expertise in change management, communication, organizational behavior, and knowledge of project management processes. The Director of Change Management will have oversight of the Change Management team, and this role will have a direct impact on the successful delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring that employees are equipped, supported, and motivated throughout periods of change.

On a typical day, you might:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies aligned with agency goals, including process redesigns, organizational restructuring, technology adoption, and cultural shifts.
  • Establish and maintain a proven change management methodology and toolkit to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and measurable results across projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define the scope of change initiatives and ensure seamless integration.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of change management practitioners and project managers.
  • Develop and implement change communication strategies that inform, engage, and motivate employees at all levels to embrace change.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change management initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed based on feedback and results.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years of project management and/or program development experience in Human Services, Public Health, Human Resources, or Education field.
  • Certificate in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP, or similar).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must reside within North Carolina.
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Human Services, or related field.
  • Supervision of two (2) or more employees.
  • Five (5) years of leadership experience in a leadership position for a BHIDD organization or health plan.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in change management, organizational development or transformation roles with proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives across diverse teams, functions, and geographies.
