Job summary

Pegasus Residential is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive the growth of its third‑party property management portfolio. The role oversees pitch strategy, proposal development, RFP management, and financial analysis while guiding a small team.

The candidate will work with regional leadership to align growth with capacity and deliver Pegasus’ brand excellence. The position requires deep knowledge of multifamily management, a proven track record in winning new business, and strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or related field and/or 5–10+ years in business development or related sales roles.
Strong understanding of third‑party property management operations and financial structures.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with owners, investors, and industry stakeholders.
Experience with CRM/BI tools such as HubSpot, RealPage BI Analytics, DOMO or similar.

Responsibilities

Grow and execute strategic business development plans to expand Pegasus’s third‑party management portfolio.
Lead RFP responses, pitches, and client presentations end-to-end.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams for market insight, strategy refinement, and final approvals.
Manage financial analysis, proformas, and NOI enhancement in collaboration with analysts.
Develop staffing plans and revenue opportunities within pitches and operational strategies.
