Our client, a mission-driven and quality-focused food service provider, is expanding in the Western region and seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth and build strategic partnerships in the education sector on the East Coast.

Director Of Business Development Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute winning sales strategies to achieve and exceed growth targets.
  • Maintain a 3-year prospecting pipeline by leveraging CRM tools to track viable leads.
  • Analyze RFPs/RFIs to ensure financial feasibility and business alignment.
  • Craft compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Conduct in-depth research to refine and enhance the sales process.
  • Attend client meetings, build strong relationships, and drive long-term partnerships.

Director Of Business Development Requirements

  • 5+ years of consultative sales experience, with at least 3 years in contract food service for Higher Education institutions.
  • A passion for people-first customer service and relationship management.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience developing proformas and analyzing RFPs/RFIs.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Self-motivated, creative problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
