Job summary

LeoForce invites a Director of Business Development to join a Chicago-based general contractor team focused on strategic growth and client expansion. You will lead the end-to-end pursuit of new revenue opportunities, build senior client relationships, and drive market penetration across targeted sectors.

You will collaborate with preconstruction and operations to align client needs with project execution, while representing the firm at industry events and key meetings to strengthen brand

Qualifications

  • 7–15+ years in business development, sales, or client-facing roles in commercial construction or related industry
  • Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals in general contracting or real estate development
  • Strong existing network within Chicagoland construction/real estate/development community
  • Deep understanding of construction delivery methods, project lifecycles, and client expectations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and autonomy
