Job description

I am currently working with a boutique investment management firm seeking a Business Development Director to help expand its network and drive client engagement across single-family offices and multi-family offices.

The firm specializes in alternative investments including private equity, real estate, hedge funds, and venture capital. With a research-driven approach and a commitment to long-term partnership building, the team offers clients access to differentiated investment opportunities and a highly tailored service model.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with SFOs, MFOs, and other ultra-high-net-worth investors, developing and executing a business development strategy to raise assets and broaden the client base, and collaborating closely with the investment and leadership teams to align marketing and fundraising strategies. You will also represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and private networking opportunities, while providing insights into client needs and industry trends to inform product development and positioning.

While the firm is headquartered in Boston, this role can be fully remote, offering flexibility while allowing you to make a direct impact on the growth of a boutique investment platform. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and investment teams in a flat, entrepreneurial culture and help shape the firm’s presence in the family office ecosystem
