Director of Business Development – Integrated Facility & Energy Solutions

Are you a Business Development leader who thrives on billion-dollar, long-cycle sales in the Life Sciences and Critical Facilities space?

A global leader in Integrated Facility Management, Energy, and Services is seeking a highly accomplished Director of Business Development to secure multi-million-dollar, large-scale contracts across the US. This is a prime opportunity for an executive to leverage their existing network and expertise to drive significant growth for a company that is part of a world-renowned infrastructure and energy group.

We Are Looking For:

  • 10+ years of progressive Business Development or strategic sales experience within the Facility Management (FM/IFM), Building Services, or technical solutions industry.
  • A deep-seated understanding and proven track record of successful FM/IFM service sales to the Life Sciences sector (Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, R&D) MUST HAVE this industry sales experience.
  • Experience engaging and demonstrating value to C-level owners and executives in complex, long-cycle sales environments (12–24 months).
  • Expertise in pitching and closing high-value Integrated Facility Management (IFM) and Energy/Decarbonization Solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Compensation:

  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to penetrate key markets, focusing on the specialized needs of Life Sciences, Industrial, and Critical Facilities clients.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships that lead to new IFM and technical solution contract acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design bespoke, high-value commercial offers that optimize client asset performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Compensation: Base Salary $125K–$175K (DOE) with an OTE of $300K–$400K.
