Grand Valley State University seeks a Director of Financial Planning responsible for strategic budget planning and financial modeling within the organization. The role entails overseeing financial activities, ensuring compliance, collaborating across departments, and managing division financial activities. This position is pivotal in ensuring fiscal sustainability while supporting the university's strategic objectives. This position is responsible for providing overall strategic budget planning and financial modeling within the Division of GVSU Omni, and is a key member of the division's leadership team. Division budget portfolio includes general, designated, restricted and reserves funds, as well as grant funds. This position will independently perform a variety of high-level, complex administrative and business functions in support of division and university operations and objectives and in accordance with University, State, and Federal policy. The position works in coordination with GVSU Omni leadership, stakeholders in other divisions, and particularly University Development, the Office of Sponsored Programs, and the Division of Finance.
Salary & Benefits :
Minimum starting salary of $75,000 commensurate with experience.
