Olema Oncology is seeking a Director of Compensation to design, implement, and govern non-executive and executive compensation across a lean, high-growth biotech environment. The role partners with senior leadership to align compensation with business priorities, market data, and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• MBA or CPA preferred for senior compensation leadership.
• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience in biotech/pharma or life sciences.
• Experience leading compensation strategy in fast-growth and/or larger orgs.
• Strong knowledge of market-pricing and equity compensation governance.
• End-to-end ownership of annual compensation planning, including budgeting and equity modeling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee non-executive compensation design, administration, and governance.
• Lead broad-based compensation, equity, and sales incentive programs.
• Provide executive compensation benchmarking, analyses, and materials for board use.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and vendors on equity governance and compliance.
• Develop scalable compensation frameworks aligned with growth and business needs.
• Deliver analytics, reporting, and insights to inform workforce decisions.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to support talent strategy and organizational design.
