Job summary

Olema Oncology is seeking a Director, Compensation to design, implement, and govern all non-executive compensation programs across the organization. You’ll drive market benchmarking, equity strategy, and compensation governance in a lean, high-growth biotech environment.

The role partners with the SVP, People & Culture and senior leaders to ensure competitive, compliant compensation decisions that align with Olema’s business priorities and patient-focused mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive compensation experience in biotech/pharma or life sciences.
• Experience designing and governing broad-based, equity, and executive compensation programs.
• Proven ability to lead compensation strategy in high-growth environments, both strategically and tactically.
• Strong data analytics, modeling, and governance capabilities; expert Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own non-executive compensation programs across the organization, including broad-based and equity.
• Lead market benchmarking, job architecture, leveling, salary structures, and planning processes.
• Develop and manage executive compensation support and materials for Compensation Committee.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and external vendors on equity compensation administration.
