Qualifications

• Doctorate degree from an accredited institution and 3–5 years of academic instruction experience.
• Understanding of the College's educational mission and doctrinal commitments.
• In good standing with a local church and committed to CBS doctrinal statements.
• Willingness to sign the doctrinal statement annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead the continuous development and evaluation of department curriculum.
• Recruit and supervise department faculty with approval of Academic Dean and President.
• Oversee department budget and reporting to Academic Dean.
• Teach up to nine hours per semester and participate in required meetings.
• Develop program objectives and coordinate assessments with Institutional Effectiveness.
